knowing your values and the answer to what is your passion or what’s most important to you helps to guide you and keep you growing. and in challenging times to help you ‘keep on keeping on’.
one of my phrases during a major life change that was challenging was, ‘it’s good it’s going’.
the changes in life throughout life may be good positive changes for us – that does not mean that they are easy to experience.
we need to know how to deal with and manage; doubt, fear, anxiety, high stress levels, and worry.
knowing what we are passionate about or what’s most important to us, and having goals or visions for our passions and what we want gives us a vision. so that we can move towards the vision; giving us positive energy as we move towards what is most important to us.
what is most important to you?
what are you passionate about?
are you taking steps to go in that direction? it will help you to ‘keep on keeping on’ having a positive focus on something important to you if you are going through a challenging change right now.
I am grateful for challenges in my life. I know that challenges are growth, that when I have challenges in my life I am becoming more, becoming better and/or getting ready for quantum growth and transformation.
When I’m in the middle of a challenge I’m not always able to be aware of the growth, or aware that I am getting better from the experience.
I can be overwhelmed, anxious, stressed, worried about a challenge in my life and when I am feeling any negative emotions I’m not as easily able to create what it is that I want.
I find that when I’m feeling the negative emotions I’m usually expecting a result that I don’t want, I’m thinking of a negative outcome rather than the positive outcome that I truly want. Sometimes it’s because I’m getting caught up in what the challenge is and not allowing myself to connect to the whole of life. Sometimes it’s because of an old paradigm that I still have. Sometimes it’s because I’ve gotten comfortable in an area of my life and haven’t thought about what it is that I actually want. Sometimes it’s because I’m in an area of my life that is part of my journey that I didn’t know I would experience and so I haven’t thought about what it is that I want.
My thoughts then are expecting negative, expecting what I don’t want. I am so happy and grateful when I am able to realize that I’m expecting something that I don’t want, because then I can change my thoughts and start expecting something that I do want.
It’s not always an easy shift depending on what’s causing the negative expectation, but being aware and being able to start changing my thoughts to what I do want to expect is how I like to live.
What are you expecting? Are you expecting negative or positive? Are you expecting what you truly want? If you aren’t, change your thoughts to expect what you do want!
Challenges are not just opportunities for growth, they are growth. You grow with all of your experiences, being aware of the experiences and open to growth expands the opportunity for bigger growth.
Challenges also open you to new awareness. What are you choosing in your life. How are you reacting to life?
You choose how you will respond to challenges. Even when I get upset or get defensive, I get to choose my attitude and I can respond instead of react. I can choose to let go the upset and defensiveness and look at the solutions and moving forward positively.
It is your choice if you react or respond, and I am happy to remember that.
There is no need for me to judge or criticize. I choose to do my best for what’s most important to me.
Are you react or respond? Choose to respond. Choose to move forward positively!
My challenge right now is to be positive, there is so much that I want, and I’m feeling that there isn’t enough time to do it. Not enough time to do the things I think I need to do or should be doing for all that I want.
It is a challenge to stay present and focused on what is most important to me. I want to be happy, present and connected. I don’t want to feel rushed and thinking about what else I need to be doing or what I need to do next.
I want to be focused on what is most important to me and connected to my higher being.
I’m not feeling grateful in these moments. I’m not connected to what my vision is.
When I take a moment to connect with what I really want, I am able to feel gratitude. Being aware of what I want helps me to become aware of where I was, where I want to go and where I am.
I become present to the moment. I am able to focus on what is important in that moment. And I am always grateful for where I am and knowing that I am continually growing.
