connecting

one of my favorite things to do is kayak. i have a favorite spot that i like to go. i paddle out, enjoying all the water and trees surrounding me.

my mind wanders as i paddle. my thoughts focused and sporadic.

i paddle through the narrows and come into a small outlet that is surrounded by trees. i see green above the water, i see green below the water. the water is clear and smooth.

my mind quiets. i connect to my inner being.

i sit

i float

i think

i relax

i let go

i allow

i connect to me

i listen

i connect to all that is

i be

these moments are my time. my time to connect to myself. to be real with myself. to be aware of what’s most important to me. to be aware of my deepest dreams and desires.

it is these moments that i connect and become aware of what i need to let go, what i need to allow. who i’m being. who i want to be. what i’m doing. what i want to do. what i’m experiencing. what i want to experience. how i’m living. how i want to live. what i’m creating. what i want to create.

what do you do to create the space to connect to yourself? where is it that your mind is energized and serene? where is it that you have moments of awareness for your being? for your dreams and desires? where is it that you let to and allow?

enjoy your moments. connect to you. be.

gratitude in the gap

what do you want?

are you feeling the lack of the want? or are you feeling the awareness and gratitude for the want?

often when we get in the gap we are feeling the lack of what we want. when we feel the lack of what we want our energy is in negative flow.

what do you want? what are you focused on? are you noticing a growing list of what you don’t have? are you feeling overwhelm of what all you need to accomplish this want that you want? is your body tight and tense, shoulders lifting to your ears?

you can feel the gratitude in the gap for three things. the awareness of what you want, the growth you have experienced and the journey of the moment.

what do you want? what are you focused on? are you curious about creating what you want? are you excited to learn and do new things? is your body light and free, muscles loose with flowing movements?

are you noticing what you want and being curious? what can you learn about what you want? what will you discover about what you want? what will you discover about what you want to create? what will you discover about yourself? notice what you can discover and create and be grateful.

are you noticing the growth you have experienced to lead you to this new want? where were you, in this moment right now are you living a past want? as we experience life and grow, we are expanding spiraling upward, creating the life that we want. our wants grow and expand. our old want has grown and expanded to our new want. notice your growth of your want and be grateful.

are you noticing this moment you are living? what are you experiencing? what is the journey you are on? who are you being? what are you doing? what are you creating? this moment is for you to be who you want to be and to do what you want to do. this moment is for you to experience what you want to experience. notice that each moment is part of your journey. there are the moments of your past, there will be moments in your future, right now is the moment of your present. live and experience this moment and be grateful.

what do you want? what is your gap? be grateful in the gap for you have experienced many moments to be in the gap. be grateful in the gap for you are creating your dreams and desires. be grateful in the gap for you are in this moment living and experiencing your life journey.

what is your gratitude in the gap?

live your truth!

what are you creating?

thinking. creating.

there is much that we all want.

there is much that we all have.

we have created a lot! do you know all that you have created? are you aware?

do you know what you are creating now? is what you are creating what you are intending to create?

are you aware of what you are intending and what you are expecting?

are you aware of your thoughts?

do you believe that your thoughts create the life that you live?

do you believe that the thoughts in your mind manifest the life that you experience?

what are you creating?

do you trust that what you want will be?

do you worry and fret about what you don’t want?

do you imagine what it will be like when you have what you want?

what are you connected to?

what are your thoughts right now?

what are you creating?

Living your truth is being guided by your dreams and desires. It is not living by somebody else’s expectations for you and it is not living the life others think you should live. You are the creator of your life journey, and your life journey is amazing and marvelous. Your dreams and desires are the energy, purpose and passion to living your truth.

Living your truth is an intimate awareness of who you are. Who do you want to be? What do you want to do? What do you want to experience? What’s most important to you? What fulfills you? What do you imagine your life journey will be?

You are growing and creating. Living your truth is making your dreams and desires come true, living your life with purpose and passion. Are you living on purpose with passion?

Living your truth is living with joy and gratitude, energy and enthusiasm. You choosing what is most important to you, so you experience feeling; love, joy, peace, gratitude, serenity, faith, abundance, freedom, and happiness. Living your truth is living a happy and fulfilled life. Are you choosing the good and positive for what’s most important to you?

Living your truth is living in present moment awareness. You choosing what is most important to you to be who you want to be, to do what you want to do and to experience what you want to experience. Are you living in present moment awareness?

Living your truth is feeling gratitude for who you are and who you are becoming. Living your truth is feeling gratitude for what you are doing and experiencing. You choose to feel gratitude for all experiences; positive and negative, happy and sad, the ups and downs, twists and turns of all your life journey. Living your truth is living your life moments fully. Are you grateful for your life, your experiences and your choices?

Living your truth is creating the life you want to live, being and doing what is most important to you and experiencing all you want to experience. Living your truth is living your life journey fully, living your dreams and desires, living a fulfilled life.

a word, an intention

i have a word for my year. sometimes more than one. this word could be defined as my intention.

for me what helps make a year, a moment, a period of time fulfilling is having a word, an intention, to help guide my being.

an intention to be who i want to be and to create what i want to create.

goals are important, i enjoy having goals, and i have many.

being may be more important than doing. so i have my word, an intention.

in my being, i am able to do what i want to do. in my being, i am able to experience what i want to experience. in my being, i am able to create what i want to create.

my words, intentions, for this year are love and empower.

the words have many different meanings to me.

love

  • give love
  • love unconditionally (especially myself)
  • empower
  • tough love
  • choosing what is most important to me
  • self-care

empower

  • myself
  • my kids
  • all those lives that i touch
  • my business
  • wellbeing
  • abundance
  • freedom

what word do you want for your year, moment, period of time?

what intention do you want to have?

who do you want to be? what do you want to create?

find a word or more, an intention for your being!

judging to gratitude

I was down and I was judging myself, thinking about all the things that I failed to do, all the things that I wanted to do and wasn’t disciplined enough to do them. thinking about the things that I want. feeling them missing. feeling the lack of all I want in my life. judging what I should have or could have done differently to not have failed and had the outcome that I wanted.

feeling the negative creates the desire, gratitude and appreciation for the positive. I  started thinking about what I want, and that turned my judging into gratitude. it changed my attitude for the day from negative to positive. I feel focused and a sense of urgency to accomplish tasks instead of the stress and overwhelm that I was feeling about all I need to and want to do.

thinking about what I want created a shift of focus from judging to gratitude.

dsc04446

what creates the gratitude feeling? thinking about your wants – who you want to be, what you want to do, what you want to experience and why you want those things. building the image of your dreams and desires, your goals and visions. getting the image clearer and clearer in your mind. and then bringing it into the present moment asking, what is most important now?

it’s a letting go and an allowing. it’s an opening to the God/Universe and not trying to control. it’s being aware of where you are, accepting that it is, and knowing where you want to go and taking action to get there.

for me, thinking about what I want, then what is most important to me, allowed my mind to get clear and focus on what I can do to move forward. I was connecting to myself.

I connected with my inner being. I switched the thoughts of judging to thoughts of who I want to be, what I want to do, what I want to experience, and what I can DO to be who I want to be, do what I want to do, and experience what I want to experience.

what I know is that challenge is growth. my negative feelings are a challenge to me, negative feelings are an indicator that who you are, what your’re doing is different than what you want to do, who you want to be. connecting to that awareness is the beginning of growth. deciding what you are going to do to create what you want is growth in action. habits and routines help to create more and more action.

what’s most important to you now? what action are you going to take?

imagining

lost in thought. lost in dream. i love visualizing and imagining. when i visualize and imagine i connect to me inner being and connect to my dreams and desires.

visualizing and imagining creates new ideas and new thoughts to explore what i want. who i want to be, what i want to do and what i want to experience.

do you visualize? do you imagine the life that you want to live? do you visualize being the person that you want to be? do you imagine doing what you want to do and experiencing what you want to experience?

bora-bora-french-polynesia-sunset-ocean.jpg

when you visualize you connect to your inner being and your dreams and desires. visualizing allows you to dream about the life that you want to live and see new ideas to how you can choose to grow and expand.

when we visualize and imagine the life that we want to live; who we want to be, what we want to do and experience, we are creating a burning desire and a sense of urgency within us that motivates us to take action in becoming who we want to be and doing what we want to do.

imagine! take 5 minutes now and visualize and imagine the life that you want to live.

live your truth!

judging and awareness

i like to be aware, and i like to be grateful.

so often i find myself judging and comparing myself. i need to do this, i need to do that, i’m not doing a good enough job at this, and i need to start doing this because this isn’t…

can you relate?

what do you judge yourself for falling short of, or even failing? i judge myself a lot more than i care to!

pexels-photo-41102.jpeg

i am getting better and better at being grateful for the awareness that judging and comparing of myself brings. in my awareness i choose to turn the judging and comparing to gratitude for knowing what i want.

i am grateful for knowing where i am and where i want to go. i am grateful for knowing what i want to learn, what i want to teach, what i want to empower.

i am grateful for knowing who i want to be, what i want to do, what i want to experience and the life that i want to create and live!

what judging and comparing can you turn to gratitude for knowing what you want? who you want to be, what you want to do, what you want to experience and to create and live the life that you want to live!

live your truth!

comfort

What do you want? Are choosing what it is that you most want?

Or, are you living a life that you are comfortable living?

It is easy to get comfortable, to think that we are living  the life that we want to live, which we most the time are. But… are you growing? expanding? creating? Are you becoming more? Are you doing more?

dsc04446

I get comfortable in my life. And I am so happy and grateful when I become aware that I have become comfortable in an area of my life; that I am not being all that I want to be, that I am not doing all that I want to do, that I am not experiencing all that I want to experience.

What do I want? What is most important to me? Am I doing all that I can? Am I creating the life that I want to live, or am I living in ‘comfort’?

It is time for me to ‘rock the boat’ in some areas of my life. I feel it, I am aware of it, and now it is time to create the life that I want to live and experience in those areas of my life!

What do you want? Are you creating the life that you want to live, or are you living in ‘comfort’? Is it time for you to rock the boat?

open to your dreams and desires

Reading books is an activity that I enjoy and is important to me. Reading has been many things for me; an escape, adventure, wonder and curiosity, knowledge and growth.

Through my reading and my thoughts, I began asking myself questions that opened me to my dreams and desires. Becoming aware of what was most important to me and the way I was living.

Being aware of what I wanted I started living my truth, creating the life that I wanted to live; being who I wanted to be, doing what I wanted to do and experiencing what I wanted to experience.

Are you open to your dreams and desires? What activities get you thinking about your dreams and desires?
