rejuvenate your energy

i needed some time away. i was being run by this commitment and this activity, responsibility after responsibility seemed to have a hold of my life and i didn’t have time for myself.

everything that i was doing, everything that seemed to have taken over my life are all things that i have chosen, they are (maybe not as much as when i first began) important to me. but, all of them combined overtook my life that i wasn’t living life, life was living me.

my energy was draining and i wasn’t able to give myself what i needed to keep my energy where i needed it to be and where i wanted it to be. i wasn’t doing activities that were for me; my body, mind and spirit. i wasn’t giving what i wanted to give to what i was doing. i needed to give me myself and rejuvenate my energy.

i needed to get away so that i could re-connect to myself. get in touch with what i want, and what’s important to me. and then to sit still and let my mind quiet.

one day. one day to connect to myself, quiet my mind, slow down, and let the sounds of nature rejuvenate my energy. let nature surround me with the flow of life. energy flowing back into my life. excitement and enthusiasm for the life i want to create flowing in my thoughts again.

i love and enjoy as much time as possible to give to myself in this way and many other smaller and bigger ways. it’s amazing what we can give to ourselves and do for our wellbeing in a small amount of time.

we all need to care for and love ourselves. we need to be able to rejuvenate and keep our energy high. when we care for ourselves, we give to ourselves, and we give to others in our lives fully.

take time and give to yourself. give to yourself in the small ways and give to yourself in the big ways. if you need to take time away because you have given and taken too much energy from yourself, do that. you will return with energy, excitement and enthusiasm to live and create life, being a part of all that you choose with happiness and gratitude.

time for myself

how do you prioritize yourself? are you doing that?

i’m reclaiming myself for myself. not that i don’t want to be giving to others and doing for others, that is something important to me. but my choices have led me to a time right now that i’ve filled my days with tasks and responsibilities that are pushing aside the relaxing and restoring things that i do for me. my energy is low and my enthusiasm is low. i’ve become disconnected from myself.

so, i’m reclaiming me, and it’s not as easy as it would seem. all the choices i have been making that have filled my days are important things to me, but they are draining me right now instead of filling me. i need to add more to my day that is filling me up, giving me positive energy. and then the positive energy can be given, given and shared with others.

i am reconnecting with myself. listening to my body. connecting to my dreams and desires with visualizing. getting myself out in nature.

laughter

i am so happy and grateful i tripped on my skirt.

crazy, maybe.

tripping on my skirt allowed me to share a moment of laughter with a total stranger, but more importantly with myself. it was laughter that was needed in my life at that moment.

i was not in a high energy mood, i wasn’t in a positive mood. and that small amount of laughter, and a smile exchanged with a total stranger was all that i needed to start feeling the positive and to start connecting to the high energy and live my day with enthusiasm and excitement.

thank you universe for giving me the laughter and the smile i needed right then to get my day flowing in the positive again!

feeling habits

have you ever noticed certain feelings you have when you are doing certain activities. feelings that you have for a certain thing that you do. you can be feeling a different polar feeling, then you begin this or that activity and it triggers your feelings to shift and you don’t quite know why. are your feelings a habit for this activity?

I realized some of my feelings for some activities were habits. I had been feeling a positive energy and began a new activity and my energy changed. I didn’t want it to change, I didn’t expect it to change, but there I was feeling blah and not the positive energy I had been feeling earlier. why? the activity that I was doing wasn’t a blah activity.

I decided that I can choose to be happy and positive energy.  I’m not sure where this blah feeling came from but I was willing and ready to kick it back out the way it had come and be back to feeling positive energy.

what other feelings are feeling habits that I have? I am happy and grateful to be aware of this. I am happy and grateful to choose feeling happy and positive energy.

good failure

i am determined to learn and grow from my failures.

failure if you allow it is a teacher. a stepping stone along your journey.

failure if you allow it gives new energy and enthusiasm to create what you want. it gives renewed determination and a burning desire to succeed!

I will be using my recent failures to build a stronger foundation.

experiencing life fully means taking risk. stepping out of your comfort zone and allowing yourself the opportunity to fail.

failures are a good teacher. failures are a good motivator. without failure, life journeys would not be as exciting.

take the risk! failing is not failing, failing is an exciting step of growth along your journey!

to keep a fire burning, the fire needs to be fed. to keep enthusiasm, a burning desire for what you want, you feed your mind positive thoughts and images for what you are desiring. you feed your mind positive new ideas and knowledge from books, audios, movies, and people that connect you to what you desire. feed your mind positive stimuli to spark thinking about your desire and building and clarifying your desire in your mind.

keeping your desire in your mind everyday by thinking about, and especially growing it through action is what keeps your desire at the top of your mind and to-do list so the busyness of day-to-day life doesn’t push your desire aside and down your list to-do.

I know that if I’m not keeping my enthusiasm high, then I’m not as involved in being who I want to be, doing what I want to do and experiencing what I want to experience as much as I want to be. Affirmations, imagining and studying keep my desires in my mind and keep me growing and taking actions to live my desires, to create and live the life that I want to live.

I am overwhelming myself with all that I want to do and with all that I think I have to do.

It is time for me to take a moment and prioritize, to refocus.

  • What is most important to me?

  • How will doing this make me feel?
  • What do I truly want?
  • What can I leverage?
  • What can I change?
  • Who do I want to be?
  • What do I want to do?

These questions help me to refocus my energy on what is most important to me. There are “busy work” things that I do need to do for living my life, but when I have thought about my priorities and connected to what’s most important to me I shift to doing with a sense of urgency.

I am able to let go the overwhelm and anxiousness I was feeling and allow the desire and positive energy feelings into my doing. I feel happy and grateful for all that I have that creates my to do list.

With this shift I am able to do more, to accomplish more, my energy isn’t wasted on worrying and doubt.

I don’t always know the source of positive high energy, but I love it!

I am creating what I want. I am visualizing and connecting to what I want emotionally. Connecting to my intention to create the life that I want to live.

What is your attitude in this moment?

Your attitude creates the energy that surrounds you. Your attitude determines how you experience your day. Your attitude determines how you react or respond to the moments of your day.

You can choose your attitude. What attitude do you want to choose? Positive and uplifting or negative and draining?

You may judge an experience or moment to be bad, but you can choose to respond in a way that you can feel positive about. And that one choice to choose positive can make the difference in a whole succession of moments. One choice can be the turning point in your life.

Burning Desire

Do you wake with energy and enthusiasm excited for what you will experience and create this new day?

Do you have a burning desire for living your life? Do you live your life with passion and purpose?

I enjoy the high energy feeling that I have when I am connected to what I want and know what I can do to move myself closer to that vision. Knowing where I am and where I want to go, and some of the actions in-between gives me the passion to live my life with purpose.

It energizes me. It builds the burning desire to be who I want to be, do what I want to do and experience what I want to experience – to live my truth!

There are times I get caught up in certain actions and goals, get in the habit/routine of living by a to-do list and the day directing me rather than me directing the day. I’m not as energized, I’m not as excited, I’m not as enthusiastic.

I take some time to connect with myself and what it is that I want. Where am I? What’s working to get me to my vision? What isn’t? What do I want? What can I do to get me to my vision?

And WOW, the flame is torched into a burning desire again. I’m waking with energy and enthusiasm excited for what I will experience and create in this new day!
